How do I book a session?
Pick a session on the Book page, choose a Thursday–Saturday evening slot, and pay a small deposit to lock the date. The deposit counts toward your total — the balance is due on the day of the shoot.
What do sessions cost?
Portrait and graduation sessions run from $175 (30-minute Mini) to $425 (2-hour Full Session), each with a hand-graded online gallery included. Events and commercial work are quoted by scope — start an enquiry.
When are you available?
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 4pm to midnight. Evening light is the best light anyway.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens — reach out as soon as you know and we'll move your date. Your deposit transfers to the new date.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
Washington, D.C. and the DMV — D.C., Maryland and Virginia sessions are standard. Further afield is usually possible; ask in your enquiry.
I'm awkward in front of a camera. Is that a problem?
That's the normal starting point, honestly. Direction is the job — you'll get posing guidance the whole way through, and clients consistently say it felt more like hanging out than being photographed.
What should I wear?
Solid colours and mid tones photograph best; avoid tiny patterns and big logos. Bring options — we'll pick together before we start. Your session's look count: Mini fits one, Signature two, Extended two to three.
Can someone come with me?
Absolutely — a friend or family member is welcome, and often helps you relax into it.
Studio or on location?
Either, or both in longer sessions. Campus, the monuments, city streets, or a studio setup — we'll plan locations when you book.
How many photos do I get?
Depends on the session — from 10+ hand-graded images on a Mini to 40+ on a Full Session. Every delivered image is individually graded; nothing is batch-filtered.
How long until I get my gallery?
You'll leave the shoot with a delivery date. Galleries land in your inbox as a private link with an access code.
How does the gallery work?
It's your own private page: browse everything, heart your favourites, and send your selection in one tap. You can share a view-only or download link with family — only you can send the final selection.
Can I get prints, extra edits or a photo book?
Yes — there's a Prints & extras button right inside your gallery. Pick what you're interested in and you'll get options and pricing by email.
Do you deliver RAW files?
No — RAWs are the unfinished negative. You get full-resolution finished images, graded by hand, sized for print and screen.
